About The Author
Eugene Toh is an economics instructor who completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in NUS and a Master of Science in Applied Economics in SMU. Toh started his teaching journey at an early age. As a student, he discovered his aptitude for teaching by helping classmates understand various subjects. He decided to specialise in economics, the most interesting subject, and decided to pursue a career in tuition teaching. Since then, he has authored many Economics textbooks and guidebooks designed for A Level and IB students. Toh has also been profiled by local news outlets including Mothership, Vulcan Post, The Asian Parent, Lian He Zao Bao and international media stations such as TF1, the most popular television network in France.

After graduating from JC, Toh founded Economics at Tuitiongenius (ETG) in 2007. Having a modern tuition centre would allow him to teach more than 200 students annually. As an economist, his commitment to ensuring universal access to educational opportunities motivated him to allocate 10% of his class slots to students in need of financial assistance. Toh’s approach to teaching seeks to nurture a genuine interest in economics and not just on academic achievements.
